 Rokugo no Watari was an important base for ferryboats connecting Kawasaki-juku with Hachimanzuka Village (now Rokugo) in the Edo Rokugo territory on the Old Tokaido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々は橋があったのが洪水で流され、橋がなかった時に舟で渡していたという歴史の記載された看板。
看板は落書きなどがありよくないですが、風景を見ながら歴史を感じられます。
A sign with a history that originally had a bridge but was washed away by the flood and was handed over by boat when there was no bridge.
The signboard is not good because it has graffiti, but you can feel the history while looking at the scenery.
