J	Jハードラー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ せんえきだい見晴らし広場の南端の突き出た所を仙奕台といい琴石、石の碁盤、将棋盤等が据えられています。千波湖を眺めながら琴を弾き、碁将棋に興じて慰楽の場としたもので、三保の松原にある羽衣の松の苗を移し植えたとされた老松がこの地にありましたが、残念ながら当時の松は枯れてしまいました。「奕（えき）」は囲碁を戦わせるの意味で、千波湖を見下ろした台地で囲碁等を楽しんだ所です。千波湖からの涼風が老松の梢(こずえ)に何かをささやき、水戸八景に選ばれたこの景勝地で風雅を楽しむ．．。屋内とは異なる格別の趣があったに違いありません。一方、風雅の場所とされたこの仙奕台は、いざという時には砲台の役目をあわせ持たせたとの説もあります。つまり、緊急時はこれらの石を砲台として利用できるように考えられていると言うのです。確かに江戸街道が眼下にあり、敵を迎え撃つには絶好の場所に見えます。 Senekidai The protruding part at the southern end of the view plaza is called Sengokudai, where kin stones, stone go boards, shogi boards, etc. are installed.
