白装束で、真夜中に祈りながら右側の小さい方のお地蔵さんを倒します。すると左側の大きいお地蔵さんは、倒されたお地蔵さんを起こしてほしいため、願い事を聞き届けてくれると云われている。願いが叶ったら自分の手で小さいお地蔵さんを起こしに行くそうです。
ちなみに現在は小さい方のお地蔵さんが固定されていて、このような願掛けは出来ないそうです。
