近	近藤勇 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021.4.28にフジを見てきました、丁度見ごろでした。私は本日は始めてこの場所に車で行きました前もってグーグルマップで駐車場などの場所を見ていたのですが駐車場はしまっていて利用は出来ません、他にあるのかもしれませんがよく場所がわかりませんでしたフジ棚の横の道に止めようと思えば止められますが、駐車しないでくださいの張り紙も有ります出来ればゆっくり見たいのと神社もよりだったので今回は車の中で少し見ただけで帰りましたもし車で行かれるのでしたら何処車の止め場所を確認してから行かれた方がよいです。 I saw Fuji on 2021.4.28, it was in full bloom. Y	YTKBB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 拝島公園内(大日堂境内)にある樹齢800年超えの都内屈指の古巨木で東京都天然記念物、地元では「千歳のフジ」と呼ばれています。往古、大日堂子院の明王院(江戸期廃寺)境内の木に巻き付いていた藤が、木が朽ちた後もそのまま自生しているもの。昭和30年、初代拝島橋開通記念式典の余剰金で藤棚を整備しました。現在、昭島市と地元のフジの花を咲かせる会と昭島市造園組合が大切に管理整備していて毎年GW前に1m程の立派な花を付けます。 Located in Haijima Park (in the precincts of Dainichido), it is one of the oldest giant trees in Tokyo that is over 800 years old. It is a natural monument of Tokyo and is locally called "Chitose Fuji". In ancient times, the wisdom that was wrapped around a tree in the precincts of Meioin (an abandoned temple in the Edo period) of Dainichidoshiin grows naturally even after the tree has decayed. In 1955, the wisteria trellis was maintained with the surplus of the first Haijima Bridge opening ceremony. Currently, Akishima City, the local wisteria flowering association, and the Akishima City Landscaping Association are carefully managing and maintaining the flowers, and every year they put on a splendid flower of about 1m in front of the Golden Week.

These 800 year old trees are the best kept wisteria secret, probably because even though they are in Tokyo, they are far from a train station (though right next to a bus stop).
