★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 市民の憩いの場の公園となっています。土塁が所々残っているし、外縁には大きな堀切が見られます。
 It is a park where citizens can relax. There are some earthworks left, and a large moat can be seen on the outer edge.

令和二年はコロナの影響で中止になりましたが桜の季節は桜祭りも行われます。
駐車場もあります。
コロナ感染拡大で三年の桜祭りはどうなるのでしょうか心配です。コロナが収束するように鹿島神宮にお参りに行って来ました。

The second year of Reiwa was canceled due to the influence of Corona, but during the cherry blossom season, a cherry blossom festival is also held.
There is also a parking lot.
I am worried about what will happen to the Sakura Festival in the third year due to the spread of corona infection. I went to visit Kashima Jingu so that the corona would converge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城跡と言っても､それらしき名残も殆ど無いし一周しても大して広く無い公園です。
でもまぁ桜も多く植えられ､鹿島の街を見下ろせる眺めの良い場所もあり､子供の遊具もありと､散歩や家族連れには中々良い場所だと思います。
歴史ある城址というのは､普通それなりのアピールをする事が多いのですが､こちらは控え目なのかヤル気ないのか､城や城址好きにとっては少々残念な部類の所かもしれませんね。
まぁ近所の人にとっては坂の上まではさほど遠く無いですし眺望も良いので､落ち着ける場所なんだと思います。
Even though it is a castle ruin, there is almost no remnant of them, and it is a park which is not very large even if it goes around.
However, there are many cherry trees planted, and there is a nice place with a view overlooking the city of Kashima, and there are children's play equipment, so I think it is a good place for walks and families.
Fortified castles often have their own appeal, but this may be a modest or somewhat disappointing category for castles and fort lovers.
Well, I think it is a calming place because it is not so far to the top of the hill and the view is good for the neighbors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公園の滑り台とか遊具は今は遊べないようになっていて、いつかここも前のように賑やかになるといいなって感じでした。
桜まつりも開催されるのはいつになるのか。
ウォーキングはちゃんとできるので夕方に行くのがベスト。夕日がとてもキレイ
The slides and playset in the park are no longer playable, and I hope someday it will be as lively as before.
When will the Sakura Festival be held?
You can walk properly, so it's best to go in the evening. The sunset is very beautiful

The former main enclosure has been converted into a castle park. The earthworks and empty moat that surround the surrounding area often remain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは多分地元の人しか訪れない本当にローカルな場所です。鹿島神宮「西の一之鳥居」の撮影の為に訪れました。案内板を見て、かつて此の地を治めていた「鹿島氏」滅亡の顛末を調べるキッカケになりました。佐竹氏による「謀略での暗殺」がキーワードでした。
This is a really local place that is probably only visited by locals. I visited Kashima Jingu Shrine to shoot "Nishi no Ichino Torii". Looking at the information board, I was able to find out the story of the destruction of "Mr. Kashima" who once ruled this land. The keyword was "assassination by plot" by Mr. Satake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 普段はウォーキングや犬の散歩をする方が居るくらいの公園ですが、桜の季節は花見客で賑わいます。
夕暮れに北浦を望む景色も見事です。
It is a park where there are usually people walking and walking dogs, but during the cherry blossom season, it is crowded with cherry blossom viewing visitors.
The view overlooking Kitaura at dusk is also spectacular.
