★ ★ ★ ★ ★ つくば市街中心（つくばエクスプレスつくば駅から徒歩数分）にあるショッピングモール「デイズタウン」の敷地内の歩道（広沢通りと言うらしい）に設置されたイルミネーション。無数のライトで埋め尽くされた頭上の灯の川は正に天の川（ミルキーウェイ）の如し。筆者も名付け親の１人である事を誇りに思っている。ＴＸが開通した年に設置され、愛称は公募で決められた。科学の街つくばに相応しく宇宙をイメージさせる応募が集まった。因みに次点は「つくばギャラクシーウェイ」。

 Illuminations installed on the sidewalk (it seems to be called Hirosawa Dori) on the premises of the shopping mall "Days Town" in the center of Tsukuba city (a few minutes walk from Tsukuba Express Tsukuba Station). The overhead river of lights, filled with countless lights, is just like the Milky Way. I am also proud to be one of the godfathers. It was set up in the year TX opened, and its nickname was decided by open call for participants. Applications were gathered to make the image of the universe suitable for Tsukuba, the city of science. By the way, the runner-up is "Tsukuba Galaxy Way".
