★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 炭鉱後の慰霊碑。昔ここが炭鉱だったとは今の発展からは想像もできません。
 Memorial after the coal mine. It can not be imagined from the present development that this was coal mine in old times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和七年 坑道内の出水により水没し、警察・消防・赤十字と救助活動行うが、三日後迄に一人も救助出来ず 救助活動を止めて十三名は永遠に帰らぬ人となった。その霊を慰める為にこの地に慰霊碑《仏像尊》が出来た。実際の坑口はここから離れているらしい。合掌???
1972: He was submerged by a flood in the tunnel, and rescued with the police, fire department, and Red Cross. A memorial monument, Buddha statue, was created here to comfort the spirit. The actual wellhead seems to be far from here. Gassho???
