★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got a private bath. Though we didn't speak Japanese they worked hard to communicate with us and helped our stay to be a very pleasant one. The facilities were clean, the water was hot, and the place was quiet. It was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the onsen a lot, but they don’t allow tattoos. I went three times, I asked the first time if tattoos were ok, and the desk clerk said yes. The second time I had no problems. The third time, my friend and I paid, walked into the changing room, but got immediately turned around and were told we weren’t allowed in because of our tattoos.
Very embarrassing, especially seeing as they have no notices on their website or around the building (that I could see) saying that tattoos weren’t allowed, and they’d confirmed previously that they were ok.
It’s a shame because the baths were really nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very relaxing. For those with tattoos, there's only one small sign that says as long as you cover them, it's ok. Staff stopped me because I didn't see the sign. But she was very nice and just asked me to cover it with my towel. I did get lots of bad looks from the older women though XD
