本尊木造釈迦如来坐像は檜材の寄木造で、能勢町唯一の室町時代在銘彫刻。後頭部内に永享八年（1436）の墨書銘があり、制作年代が判明する貴重な作品です。

The main statue of Shaka Nyorai is made of cypress wood and is the only sculpture in the Muromachi period in Nose Town. It is a valuable work whose production date is known, with the inscription of Eikyo 8 (1436) in the back of the head.
