★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 音響山伝相院善福寺。永仁2年(1294年)の創建と云われている時宗寺院です。本堂はだいぶ傷みが進んでいますが、味がある様にも見えます。北品川から徒歩で約5分の所にあります。
Onkyozanden Soin Zenpukuji. It is a Ji-shu temple that is said to have been built in 1294. The main hall has been damaged a lot, but it looks like it has a taste. It is about a 5-minute walk from Kitashinagawa.

また寺自体は寂れている状態で近付きにくい・・・。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北品川駅から５分ほどのところにある善福寺。品川区の広報誌に品川の文化財公開という記事がでていたので訪問。しかし、文化財公開というほどのことでもなく、保存状態はひどいものでした。品川区が紹介するのであれば、もう少し文化財の保存をしっかりとした上で、料金をとっても良いので公開をしてほしいと思います。本堂の入り口はアルミサッシだし、文化財が台無しです。京都のお寺のようにしっかりとした管理、保存をお願いしたいと思います。見るに値するのであれば料金も少しだけでも聴取しても良いのではないかと。

I visited the public relations magazine of Shinagawa Ward because there was an article about the publication of Shinagawa's cultural properties. However, it was not so much a cultural property disclosure, and the state of preservation was terrible. If Shinagawa Ward introduces it, I would like you to make it public because it is okay to charge a fee after preserving cultural properties a little more firmly. The entrance to the main hall is an aluminum sash, ruining cultural properties. I would like to ask you to manage and preserve it as firmly as a temple in Kyoto. If it's worth seeing, I think it's okay to listen to even a small fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 幕末から明治にかけて活躍した鏝絵の達者である入江長八の作品━━の残骸があります。
本堂前面を飾っていたはずの鏝絵のほとんどは崩れ落ちています。名人の妙技をわずかに看取できるものの、もはや作品と呼べる状態ではありません。人口稠密な品川にあって、檀家の数もそれなりにあるだろうに、境内はみずぼらしくうらぶれた雰囲気です。山門に至る道も参道というよりは裏路地です。境内は活気どころかそもそも人気がありません。
檀家の方々は別として、長八の作品を堪能したいのであれば行くべきでなく、そうでなければ行く意味がないように思います。

Most of the paintings that should have decorated the front of the main hall have collapsed. Although you can see a little of the master's feats, it is no longer in a state where it can be called a work. In the densely populated Shinagawa, there may be a certain number of Danya, but the precincts have a shabby and enviable atmosphere. The road leading to the mountain gate is also a back alley rather than an approach. Far from being lively, the precincts are not popular in the first place.
Apart from the Dan family, if you want to enjoy Chohachi's work, you shouldn't go, otherwise it doesn't make sense to go.
