特に山頂近くの高山草原にはハイマツやシラタマノキなど貴重な高山植物を見ることができます。
高山植物の花畑も蔵王の魅力の一つです。
火山の火口である御釜は、濃い緑の湖で非常に美しいです。温泉が利用できるのも蔵王の魅力です。
ちなみに国定公園は国立公園ではないので、管理自体は宮城県と山形県が行っています。

The flower field of alpine plants is also one of the attractions of Zao.

By the way, the national park is not a national park, so Miyagi and Yamagata prefectures manage it.
