★ ★ ★ ★ ★ comfort lodge, large space and quite. nearby ski area 藏王坊平高原. just need to take walk around 10 min to reach rental and ticketing place. Although its ski lane not as many as zao hot spring area but still a good choice for beginners, also a hiker who want to go for an ice tree tour. just take lift to top and you will find it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great pizza, if nothing else, please try the pizza. The drinks are a little expensive. Alas, despite the lodge being warm, it's not very cozy, having canteen style tables as seating. I'd be reticent to call the main building a 'lodge', and it's not a great place to stay if you're a non skier.
Despite this, it's a nice place to visit, the sights are pleasant and the slopes, by all accounts, are well managed.
Minus points for having no real gluten free option, but one can bring their own food.

It's just that good. They have a wood fire oven. There's nothing super fancy, but it just tastes so good.
I usually come here while motorcycle touring to the Zao Ecoline.
