銚子漁港は利用範囲が全国的な漁港のうち、水産業の振興のために特に重要であるとして1951年(昭和26年)日本で初めて特定第3種漁港に指定され、地元漁船はもとより、北は北海道、南は沖縄にいたる沖合漁船の一大根拠地として発展している。
この日、銚子名物にしてプライドフィッシュの1つ「入梅イワシ」を食べにやって来まして、先ずはこの漁港付近を散策。
丁度この辺りでイワシの水揚げが色んな船で行われており、漁船からトラックに移されるシーンが目の前で見れました。
水揚げのシーンもさることながら、ここら辺の道路はトラックの荷からこぼれたイワシがいっぱい散乱してます。
道路標識には「垂れ流し走行禁止」とか書いてますが、そこはさすが日本一の水揚げ漁港、垂れ流すなってほうが無理でしょう(^o^)
このイワシから剥がれた鱗が道路脇に積もり、時が経つと銀色の道を形成します。
こういうのを先に見学しおいて、漁港近くの海鮮料理屋で食うイワシは格別。いかにも漁師町に来たんだなとと実感します。

Among the nationwide fishing ports, the Choshi fishing port was designated as the first specified type 3 fishing port in Japan in 1951 because it is particularly important for the promotion of the fishing industry. Is developing as a major base for offshore fishing boats to Hokkaido and Okinawa in the south.
On this day, I came to eat one of the pride fish "Iriume sardines", which is a specialty of Choshi, and first took a walk around this fishing port.
Sardines are being landed on various boats around here, and I could see the scene of being transferred from a fishing boat to a truck in front of me.
In addition to the landing scene, the roads around here are full of sardines spilled from truck loads.
The road sign says "Dripping is prohibited", but it would be impossible to run down, which is the best landing fishing port in Japan (^ o ^)
Scales peeled off from this sardine pile up on the side of the road, forming a silvery road over time.
The sardines that you eat at a seafood restaurant near the fishing port are exceptional. I really feel that I have come to the fisherman's town.
