★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大和三庭園の一つと数えられ、サクラ(品種不明)やイロハモミジを始めとして四季折々を楽しめる景観が素敵です。50種もの樹木があるそうで、訪問が4月上旬なので桜が綺麗でした。池の回りは高低差があって一周でき、吉野の景色も合わせて楽しめるところがまた良いです。頂上部は平らですが、四阿がかなり痛んでいるので利用には注意が必要です。庭園の観覧料が大人400円というのも仕方ないかな。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 群芳園は大和三庭園の一つといわれているそうです。豊臣秀吉の吉野観桜の際に千利休が築造したそうです。
Gunhoen is said to be one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan. It is said that Sen no Rikyu built it when Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Yoshino Kanzakura.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 室町末期、大峰山に竹林院を建てた第21代住職祐尊が山上の様子を移して造った庭を、1594年の太閤秀吉吉野花見に際して、千利休が桃山風に手を加えて造園し、さらに細川幽斎が改築した庭と言われ、當麻寺中之坊の庭、慈光院の庭とともに大和三名園のひとつに数えられている。
19/10/21、金峰山寺の蔵王権現ご開帳にあわせて吉野町を訪ねた時、竹林院をお詣りした。その際、こちらの庭を散策し、落ち着いた気分にしていただいた。
At the end of Muromachi, Sen no Rikyu landscaped the garden created by the 21st chief priest, Yuson, who built Takebayashi-in on Mt. Furthermore, it is said that the garden was renovated by Hosokawa Fujitaka, and it is counted as one of the three famous gardens of Yamato along with the garden of Nakanobo in Tomaji and the garden of Jikoin.
On 19/10/21, when I visited Yoshino-cho to coincide with the opening of the Zao Gongen of Kinpusenji Temple, I visited Chikurin-in Temple. At that time, I took a walk in this garden and made me feel calm.
