In September 2019, I stayed overnight by bike touring. There are not so many free campgrounds around Lake Biwa, but this is a beautiful campsite that has recently been reorganized by relocating a separate campsite. Cars and motorcycles can not be entered, but there is a parking lot with asphalt floor and the toilet building is also clean with flush toilets. Above all, it is very quiet because it is far from the main road, and you can sleep well on the lawn ground and quiet. Announcements are played at a fair volume. There is a toilet near the parking lot, but it was a habit of going to the back from the parking lot. Announcements were heard every time the toilet was used, and it was noisy. I think that it is a very good campground if you do not cook authentic camping food using the cooking area. I'm sleeping on touring. There was no problem if you could use the toilet water! It is also a campsite you want to use! !

I used it at solo camp. It is a managed park. It is popular, and the parking lot is full soon. There were a lot of tents and the barbecue area was full. There is a clean flush toilet, a vending machine, a full lawn with a river on the site, a paved road, a bamboo bush, it's all about it. It's great because this is free of charge. Family camp, solo camp, various people were used, but security did not feel bad. It is very quiet at night. The lights also disappear at 21:00, so you can enjoy the starry sky!
