★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of promise that ultimately fails to deliver. Having lived in Japan for a while, the lack of breakfast food is one of the top things I miss. On a short day trip to Kobe from Osaka we found this place and I was very excited. It had all the promising hall marks of a great spot for a brunch date. Cosy decor, a delicious looking menu and Jack Johnson playing on the stereo. We of course ordered the eggs Benedict. It came out looking beautiful, but unfortunately just not right. The eggs and sauce were served stone cold. The bacon was a fairly bland thick cut, not the tasty, crispy bacon that I so love with breakfast. And the sauce was rather bland, not standing out at all. Overall not terrible but an average experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fashionable brunch for a great price! The restaurant is in a fancy part of Motomachi, near Chanel and Hermes and Gucci, but it’s surprisingly affordable. There’s lots of seating, and it has a diverse menu too! I went there for my birthday lunch, and would love to go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent brunch place in central Kobe. They serve Japanese style soufflé pancakes which are fluffy and soft but take 30m to prepare.
The coffee is average at best, not worth ordering if you’re looking for good quality coffee.
To note, minimum order is 1 drink per person.
Otherwise very cozy, great vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I randomly found this place while staying in Osaka for the weekend. We stopped here on the way back home. It took us a minute to find parking, but eventually we parked at Daimaru. Yorky’s is a really cute spot with great food. We ordered a burger & fries, egg sandwich, and hazelnut latte’s. All very delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite pricey but the food was delicious. So ready your wallet for the bill! The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The wifi was good and the place wasn't too crowded. It was my first time having soufflé pancakes but this place left a great impression of them. The eggs benedict with pastrami and ricotta cheese were amazing! The white chocolate latte was by far my favorite!Overall, it is a great place to have a very special lunch/brunch.
