子供のころは（もう40年以上前の話）、冬に毎週チカ釣に連れられて通ってましたが（自分で言うのも何ですが、手先が器用だったので、みんなが使う仕掛けや針結び・魚の皮でサビキ仕掛けなんかを、一手に引き受けて小学生の頃から作ってた。お陰で重宝されて、船なんかもちょくちょくタダで乗せてもらっていました。）、１月～３月は、ここには山から下った銀毛ヤマメ（サクラマスに成り立て）が立ち寄る場所だったので、女川の釣具店で、モエビ仕込んで来て、かなり美味しい思いをしてました。
銀毛ヤマメが見当たらない時は、ヘチのくぼみから顔だしているアイナメとか、メバルをサイトフィッシング（あの頃はアイナメは、40cm位のが普通にいた）。場所変えてウミタナゴなんかも釣って餌は残さず有効利用。最初ょき書き忘れたけど、チカ釣りの餌は、近くの浜から採ってきたイサダね。だから、モエビを買わなきゃ基本ただだったのさ。

When I was a kid (more than 40 years ago), I used to go to Chika fishing every winter (I can say it myself, but my hands were dexterous, I used to take care of sacking with needle-knots and fish skins from the time I was in elementary school. It was the place where the silver-colored yamame trout (made up of cherry salmon) that came down from the mountain stopped by.
If you can't find Ginny Yamame, you can sight-fish out of the hollow of your hem, or rockfish for sight-fishing (at that time, it was usually around 40 cm). Change places and catch sea urchins and use the bait effectively without leaving any food. At first I forgot to write, but the bait for chica fishing is Isada taken from the nearby beach. So, if I didn't buy Moebi, it was just basic.
