８月以降に色々な品種のリンゴが取り扱われ11月中旬から12月中旬にかけてリンゴの王さま「サンふじ」が出てくる。
毎年12月初旬に「ふじ即売会」が実施され大行列になり早いと10-11時には完売してしまう。
全国的には、あまり知られていないが隠れたリンゴの名産地。
1度味わうと他のリンゴが食べられなくなる。
