江戸時代から昭和24年(1949)の閉山まで採掘されたそうです
南北で複数箇所に鉱山があったそうで県道35号線沿いからも巨大なズリ山が確認出来ます
富トンネル北側の旧バス亭から東に続く林道沿いにも小規模なガレ場があり横穴跡もあるらしく山頂付近には抗口が何ヵ所もあります
鉱石の採集等でズリ山を訪れる際はルートに注意が必要です
場所によっては私有地であったり害獣駆除の罠が仕掛けられています
 At the site of a copper mine on Mt. Yataka, which straddles Yakage Town, Okayama Prefecture, Tamashima, Kurashiki City, and Mabi Town.
It is said that it was mined from the Edo period to the closing of the mountain in 1949.
It seems that there were multiple mines in the north and south, and you can see a huge slag heap along Prefectural Road 35.
There is also a small scree along the forest road leading to the east from the old bus station on the north side of the Tomi tunnel, and it seems that there are traces of horizontal holes, and there are several entrances near the mountaintop.
When visiting Mt. Zuri for ore collection, you need to be careful about the route.
Depending on the location, it may be privately owned or a trap for exterminating vermin may be set up.
