★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place.
I wouldn't really call it a park. Basically it's a long narrow stretch of open land by the river. It's got a BBQ area, a few baseball fields, toilets and an occasional tree. It's in the city so it's convenient to get to, for jogging or walking pets. If you're looking for a place to have a picnic with the family, I'd go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this park. I go here regularly for cycling. There are about 30km of cycling lanes on either side of the river; mostly in good repair. Some parts could do with repaving but the nishinakajima area is mostly good.
I think this park could be so much better though if they planted loads of trees along the banks as there aren't many shady places. They have recently opened a load of BBQ businesses and things which are drawing in crowds but there could be more market stalls and so on. Still, is a great place for runners, cyclists, dog walkers and families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to see the fireworks and it was real fun. There was a lot of people but not noisy and the breeze was nice, too. The fireworks performance lasted for 1 hour. I had so much fun with my friends. My trip was at night so I can't tell you much about the park, sorry guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ West side of Yodo River commands a fine views of Osaka Umeda Chayamachi well seen after sunset. Dreamy world would be experienced for a couple, hidden date place!
