There were many people picnicing along the riverside of Kawazu Sakura, so I stopped by because there was no place. A lot of people were eating lunch on the bench here as well. Although it is a small tree, Kawazu cherry blossoms were in bloom here as well, and Kusunoki made a smooth noise and was able to get a lunch while feeling the pleasant breeze.

Yodo Castle was first seen at Yakushiji Motoichi's Yodo Castle in 1504, and Hosokawa Ujitsuna in 1559, Iwaki Dori in 1570, and Akechi Mitsuhide's Yodo Castle in 1582 are known, but their locations are unknown. It is said that Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Yodo Castle was built by repairing the ancient Yodo Castle in 1588, but it is estimated that it was located in the Fushimi Ward Nosokitashirobori and Nanjobori areas. Yodo Castle, which was built by Naomasa Nagai in 1623, was a water area located on Yodo Island (Yodohonmachi, Fushimi Ward) in the middle of the river. The castle tower is said to imitate the castle tower of Nijo Castle. Now it only exists as the ruins of Honmaru and a part of the castle ruins of Uchibori.

Although it is a small park, you can see the stone walls and moat traces. However, in this season, the vegetation has become a little ferocious, and there are many places where the stone walls are hidden, which is a bit disappointing, but instead you can see the lotus flowers named "Yodohime" in bloom. increase.

It is the ruins of Honmaru rather than the ruins of a castle. Most of the castle is buried in the streets, but the quiet stone walls and water moat make it look like it used to be. Although it is a park, it is the minimum maintenance. As the fate of man-made objects, it may decay as it is. To be honest, it's unsatisfactory to go to Yodo just for this castle. Historically, it is a castle with important value, but from the Meiji era to the present day, it was awkward to handle, so I think it's okay to buy and maintain the surrounding area. By the way, the neighboring Ataehi Shrine was after the move, but it was a fairly venerable shrine, and this one was more interesting.

A historic site where it is easy to understand that the stone wall remains and it is the ruins of a castle. The inside is a park. The castle was built in 1623. It is said that it was not rebuilt after it disappeared due to a lightning strike in the 6th year of the Horeki (1756). It seems that it was about to be destroyed like Takatsuki Castle when the Keihan train opened, but it seems that it was preserved due to the opposition of the locals. However, it seems that it is still not recognized as a cultural property. It is currently left as part of Yodo Castle Ruins Park. Isn't it fun for historic site enthusiasts? There is a pay parking lot at Yodo Shrine, which can be accessed by car. Bicycles are also available.

It is a castle that boasts a stone wall and a wide moat, built by the second shogun Hidetada. If you visit during the cherry blossom season, the stone walls will also shine. There is no direct relationship between the castle and Yodo-dono.

The stone wall is spectacular. The inside of the castle is a park. It's a little disappointing that it's hard to see the entire stone wall from the outside of the water digging. It's a pity that we couldn't enter because of fences, abandoned companies, weeds, etc. I think it would be better if the area around the water digging was rented or maintained by the local government and the area around the water digging was made into a promenade to make it easier to see. There is a pay parking lot at a nearby shrine.

The remains of a castle with stone walls and a moat. It is part of the park and is planted with cherry blossoms. Rather than a historic site, it is a civic park and a place of relaxation for families with children. Since the shrine is next to it, there are big trees and there is a calm atmosphere. It's old, so it's not clean, but there is also a toilet.
