★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 内房線千葉駅から4つ目の駅です。東口側には広いロータリーがあり、SENDOと言うスーパーがあります。西口側は居酒屋。スナック的な飲食店が少しある感じです。
It is the fourth station from Chiba Station on the Uchibo Line. There is a large rotary on the east side, and there is a supermarket called SENDO. The west side is an izakaya. It feels like there are some snack restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 内房線の駅です。高校時代に比べると東側にスーパーができてビックリしました。駅は周辺は昭和が残っていて良いです。
It is a station of Uchibo Line. I was surprised to find a supermarket on the east side compared to when I was in high school. Showa is good around the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東口には、余所者は降りる意味がない。西口には、食事のできる店や、書店などもあって（→と、書いたら、2018年に入って訪れると閉店して飲食店になっていた）、多少時間が潰せる。
神社好きなら、駅名の由来でもある飯香岡八幡宮を訪れてはいかが。歩いてもすぐだ。
There is no point to get off at the east exit. At the West Exit, there are restaurants and bookstores where you can have meals (→ I wrote, and when I visited in 2018, it closed and became a restaurant), so I can spend some time.
If you like shrines, why not visit Ikaoka Hachimangu, which is also the source of the station name. It's just a short walk.
