谷田部地区は、都心から60kmと農産物を東京に販売するにも産直で新鮮野菜などを購入してもらうにも立地条件に恵まれる。
さらに鉄道利用面は、つくばエクスプレスとJR常磐線の間に位置し、高速道利用面は、常磐道と圏央道のジャンクションがあり、前者の谷田部ICと後者のつくば中央ICが利用可能である。近々、圏央道のスマートICも、国の事業決定を受けて整備される見込みである。加えて、現在片側１車線のものが二車線化されるため工事施工中である。
Our agricultural cooperative is an organization that develops suburban agriculture, with the Yatabe district in the southern part of Tsukuba as a business area.
The Yatabe district is 60km from the city center and is blessed with good location conditions for selling agricultural products to Tokyo and for purchasing fresh vegetables directly from the farm.
Furthermore, the railway use side is located between the Tsukuba Express and the JR Joban Line, and the highway use side has a junction between the Joban Road and the Ken-O Expressway, and the former Yatabe IC and the latter Tsukuba Chuo IC can be used. .. In the near future, smart ICs on the Ken-O Expressway are expected to be developed in response to the national business decision. In addition, construction is currently underway because one lane on each side will be converted to two lanes.
