東急 矢口渡駅前にある神社です。開創の時期は不明ですが、江戸時代初期には、旧安方村の鎮守様として、祀られていたようです。
＜安方村の鎮守様から＞
元の社号は、八幡神社で、応神天皇様がご祭神です。明治42年（1909年）に、旧村名から安方神社と改称されました。
第二次大戦で焼失しましたが、昭和36年（1961年）に再建されました。
＜坂口安吾氏の面影＞
かつて、坂口安吾氏はこの近くに住んでいたのか、書き損じの原稿用紙に囲まれた写真に安方という地名の表記がありました。
大文豪の創作にも、このあたりの風光が反映されたのでしょうか。

[Yasukata Jinjya Shrine]
It is a shrine in front of Tokyu Yaguchiwatari Station. It is unknown when it was created, but it seems that during the early Edo period it was worshiped as a guardian of the former Angata village.
The original company name is Yawata Shrine, and Emperor Ojin is the god of religion. In 1909, the old village name was changed to Angata Shrine.
It was destroyed in WWII, but was rebuilt in 1961.
In the past, whether Ango Sakaguchi lived near here, there was a notation of the place name "Angata" in a photo surrounded by miswritten manuscript paper.

御祭神は誉田別命。
桜の時期には近くの和菓子屋さんで団子でも買ってのんびりと花見ができる神社。
5月初旬にはしだれ藤を眺めながらゆるりとした刻を楽しむこともできます。
環八沿いにあるにもかかわらず、異なる時間の流れを感じる神社です。因みに。手水舎の水は普段は出ていません。
