★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 味土野から離村した方々の記念碑が建っています。まだ居住されている方がいらっしゃるので厳密には廃村ではありませんが、多くの方々が村を離れたのは事実です。
かつてはここに阿弥陀堂があったようで、その頃から祀られていたらしき石仏が集められています。また、桜の木や水仙が植えられていて、非常にのどかで美しい光景が見られます。
ここまで上ってくる途中の左手には味土野散策マップに記された「ガラシャ化粧水場」があります。あまりにひっそりとした、こじんまりとしたものなので見逃してしまいそう。

It seems that there used to be Amida-do here, and stone Buddhas that seem to have been enshrined since that time are collected. In addition, cherry trees and daffodils are planted, and you can see a very peaceful and beautiful sight.
On the left side of the way up to this point, you will find the "Garasha Toner Place" marked on the Midono Walking Map. It's so quiet and cozy that you'll miss it.
