★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は素戔鳴尊。御由緒を調べて分かったことは、300年ほど前、この地に御祭神の神輿が流れ着いたことから、村人が社殿を造営し祀ったことが始まりで、山田祇園祭は「暴れるほど神が喜ぶ」ことから非常に荒々しいことで有名だそうです。
公園に隣接した一段高くなっている境内の入口、鳥居正面の大きな建物はおそらく神輿殿なのでしょう。社殿は左側の小ぶりな方ですね。境内社に淡島神社、さらに「八坂神社科学万博出場祈念碑」の石碑がありましたが、もしかして万博でコスモ星丸を相手に暴れ神輿をやらかした・・・のかなと想像してみたり。
 The god of ritual is Naruson. About 300 years ago, the mikoshi of the god of rituals arrived in this area, and the villagers built and worshiped the shrine. It is said that it is famous for being very rough.
The large building in front of the torii gate, which is the entrance to the raised precincts adjacent to the park, is probably a portable shrine. The shrine is a small one on the left. There was Awashima Shrine in the precincts, and a stone monument of "Yasaka Shrine Science Expo Participation Memorial", but I imagine that at the Expo, I ran into a mikoshi against Cosmo Hoshimaru.
