Yanaizu Castle is a Japanese castle during the Warring States period, located in Hongo 2-chome, Yanaizu-cho, Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture (formerly Yanaizu-cho, Hashima-gun). It is said that the castle was built during the Bunki era (around 1501). The castle owner, Takekoshi Settsu Mamoru, served Mr. Saito, but died in the Battle of Nagara River in Koji 2 (1556), and the castle owner was replaced by his uncle Naruyoshi Settsu Mamoru Naomitsu. Naomitsu Naruyoshi Settsu (later renamed Naomitsu Takekoshi) also serves Mr. Saito. During the Warring States period, this area was Owari, but it was under the control of Mr. Saito and was at the forefront of the battle between Mr. Saito and Mr. Oda. In the former Yanaizu village, the place names of Ichiga Castle and Nanaga Castle remained, but this is said to be the place where Yanaizu Castle was founded and fort. The ruins of the castle are on the grounds of the Gloss Temple, but only the stone monument remains.

(Translated by Google) Currently, Kotakuji Temple is built on the site of Yanagizu Castle. In front of the temple, there is a guide board about the ruins of Yanagizu Castle and a sketch of the ruins of the castle, which will give you a clue as to what happened at that time ? In addition, there is a monument of Yanagizu castle ruins and a tomb of Takekoshi Settsumori behind the main hall, so I think that it is a place that you can fully enjoy for a non-major castle ruin. I think it's a nice place that is well managed ? Thanks to the priest ? I wanted to worship because it was a big deal, but I couldn't worship because there was no money box ?
