水	水車おじさん（まそじろう） on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 柳津の温泉に入ろう！ということで向かうと地熱発電所の看板が。これは見学するしかない！というわけで雪道を下り向かう。道路脇にチラチラ看板があるので初めてでも迷わず行けた。雪山の中を走っていると太いパイプやら分電盤やらが見えてくる。否応にも高まる期待感！そして大きく太い発電所外観は壮観‼ パワみを感じる。駐車場には先客もおらず貸切状態。これはじっくり見学出来そう！からの冬季閉館。インターネット時代に事前に調べなかったのが悪いんですがね… 看板見たら行きたくなるじゃないですかあ。 Let's enter the hot springs of Yanazu! 安	安積野 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 会津柳津西山温泉奥にある地熱発電所。発電に使った蒸気を水に戻す冷却塔は中々圧巻で、長大なパイプが引き回されていたりと巨大構造物マニア的にはまぁまぁ満足感もある。ただ実際には少し水蒸気が出ていたのだが、写真には写らなかったのがちょっと残念だ。 3.11以降最も実用的な再生可能エネルギーとして注目される地熱だが、20年経って出力が半減したり、地下からくみ上げた蒸気に混ざる硫化水素（これは大気汚染物質）を大気に放出するなど、全く問題がないわけではない事は認識しなかればならないようだ。尚、隣接してPRも存在しどちらかと言えば子供向けだが、難解ではないので大人でも理解しやすいとはいえる。 A geothermal power plant located in the back of Aizu-Yanagizu Nishiyama Onsen.
