★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1994年（平成6年）、旧笹岡農協と旧神山農協が合併し誕生した農協です。
1978年（昭和53年）の水田転作制度施行に対し、笹神村は転作制度に村をあげて反対し、転作達成率で全国ワースト1となったそうです。
旧北多摩生協（現パルシステム東京）代表者の方々が米の取引産地を求めてこの笹神村を訪問され、以降、笹岡農協（現JAささかみ）と旧北多摩生協（現パルシステム東京）との人的な交流が始まったそうです。
1996年（平成8年）には、第1回全国環境保全型農業推進コンクールで農林水産大臣賞を、2005年（平成17年）には日本農業賞「第1回食の架け橋賞」大賞を受賞しました。
This agricultural cooperative was created in 1994 by the merger of the former Sasaoka Agricultural Cooperative and the former Kamiyama Agricultural Cooperative.
In response to the enforcement of the paddy field conversion system in 1978 (Showa 53), Sasagami Village opposed the conversion system by raising the village, and it seems that the rate of achievement of conversion was the worst in Japan.
Representatives of the former Kitatama Co-op (currently Pal System Tokyo) visited this Sasakami Village in search of a rice trading area, and since then, Sasaoka Agricultural Cooperative (currently JA Sasakami) and the former Kitatama Co-op (currently Pal System Tokyo) It seems that human exchange with has begun.
In 1996 (Heisei 8), the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award was awarded at the 1st National Environmental Conservation Agricultural Promotion Contest, and in 2005 (2005), the Japan Agriculture Award "1st Food Bridge Award" Grand Prize. I won the award.
