★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice trail, diverging from the main road to cut across the mountain. There are a few places where a wider path would be nice -- one stream crossing in particular comes to mind, basically a plank with a steep drop on both sides. The eastern entrance is just outside the tunnel, directly across from the path up to Sasago Pass.
