本のジャンルも多彩で文学・歴史・郷土史・東洋史・民俗史・政治・軍事・雑学その他と史実に基づいた書籍が多い。反面空想戦記小節やフィクション物・コミック・パソコンや資格関連等の本は扱わない。コミックやフィクションものは流行り廃りがあるし、パソコン・資格ものは日進月歩で新しい物や改正版が出るので不良在庫で残るので扱わないそう。
古本屋では二極化(量販総合店か特定分野専門店)が進み、個人経営店では方向性と立ち位置が定めにくい中、店主の本に対する『拘り』と地域の客層に合わせた選書のバランスの良さと目利きが冴えている様に思います。
小さいお店であるにも関わらず、割りと多くの本を扱っているものの平積みされていて本を探すのに一苦労させられる。このお店ではカオス感やトレジャーハンティングを楽しむつもりで古本を探した方が良いかもしれません。

店の外、京成線路側に設けてある廉価な古書の書架も大きく、私はよく何冊も抱えて帰ります。千葉県内には誠に貴重な古書店です。
最近、某QR決済にも対応したので、小銭を増やしたくないキャッシュレス派としては嬉しい。→やめた模様。
