★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小荷田公園に併設された、とっても素敵な図書館。子供から、お年寄り向けの本、しんぶん、雑誌に至るまで、ジャンルも、書籍数も豊富。
決して新しい施設ではないけど、ここの図書館が、一番好きです。
A very nice library attached to Kodada Park. There are many genres and books, from children to books for the elderly, books, and magazines.
It's not a new facility, but I like the library here the most.

スタッフの皆さんも入館時から退館まで丁寧に挨拶など声掛けをしてくれて好感が持てます。
個人的には県立図書館よりもこっちの方がいいです。
The collection is not very large, but the surrounding area is quiet and easy to use.
The staff members also politely greet me from the time I enter the building to the time I leave the building, which I like.
Personally, this is better than the prefectural library.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自分が中学生の頃からお世話になっている図書館です。場所は元の山形商業高校の跡地で緑の多い静かな環境です。隣に南部公民館と体育館があり、駐車場が共有なので一杯の時もありますが近隣を含め駐車場も広いです。建物自体はだいぶ古くなってきましたが、それでも広さといい蔵書の多さといい申し分ありません。またスタッフの方も親切でとても助かります。子どもを連れて毎回お世話になってますが、子どもの頃から本に親しんでおくことが人生をより深いものにしてくれると信じています。自分ももっとたくさん本を読みたい！と思います。
It is a library that I have been taking care of since I was a junior high school student. The place is the site of the former Yamagata Commercial High School and is a quiet environment with lots of greenery. There is a southern public hall and a gymnasium next to it, and the parking lot is shared, so it may be full, but the parking lot is large, including the neighborhood. The building itself has become quite old, but it is still perfect for its spaciousness and large collection of books. The staff are also kind and very helpful. I take care of my children every time, but I believe that familiarizing them with books from childhood will deepen their lives. I also want to read more books! I think.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コロナ対策がしっかりなされているようです。そのため椅子の数が減って座る場所がなかったりもしますが、座る場所がない図書館もあるこの御時世では、ありがたいなと思いました。
静かな場所です。
