ここは元々土地の所有者が、土地活用として無料で駐輪場にしたのが始まり。更地に囲いを付けただけの簡素な駐輪場でした。
時が経ち、市役所が管理することにはなったが無料のご意志は今のところそのまま残しています。自転車側は朝だけですが、整理整頓する方はいます。しかし、こちらは終日いませんので、整然と駐輪していただきたいと思います。
有料にする計画もあるとのことですので無料継続のためにも、引き続きご協力をお願いいたします。

この駐輪場は2018年から無料のミニバイク(125cc以下)駐輪場として運営されています。それまでは「山田駅臨時原付バイク駐輪場(50cc以下)」でした。
そもそも山田駅周辺に他のバイク駐輪場がないので有料でも使う人は多そうですが、2021年現在も無料です。50台くらいのキャパがあります。

利用者のマナーが良く、いつもバイクが綺麗に整列している印象です。奥にはHello Cyclingの駐輪ポートもあります。
