★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good and large electronics/homeware store, with friendly and helpful service, that can usually bridge the English/Japanese language divide. While the sheer variety of stock may not match its obvious Osakan competitor, this is easily the best store of its kind in Kobe, and is by no means a bad choice for those needing particularly homeware.

The staff helped me to find a wallsocket adapter for my Euro-electronics, and a prepaid mobile data sim-card (which was about 2000yen for 1,5Gb including taxes) just incase free wifi isn't available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sales staff were very helpful, I was only in for a hdmi cable but the young attendant wanted to make sure I had the correct lenght. He knew I was plugging my laptop into the hotel TV so I could watch my own local broadcast via my iptv account. He even asked if I had a VPN. Very impressed. Conveniently located. Good for us tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Yamada Denki is the worst of the big electric stores in Japan. Staff likes to talk with each other much more than with the customers and when you manage to get the attention of one, they are pretty unfriendly.

I have bought UQ WiMAX here for just two months.
But the WiMAX speed was so slow...
Then I went to the store and ask the clerk that He told me you should directly rescind the contract
and pay the 9000yen for the forfeit money.....?
