★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large natural park area with local restaurants , souvenir shops, sake stores, onsen a. Has few temples on the area. There is a cable car to go to the top of the mountain with an amazing view of the sea and the niigata plains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the season of hydrangea (アジサイ) and I am glad I was able to see it there when I visited.. I love it. Very beautifully maintained park. I often go there to relax, I usually go there during weekdays because their are just a few visitors going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is big park. So colorful in autumn. This is one of top 3 autumn places in Niigata ken. Near there is Yahiko shrine and Yahiko mount. In Yahiko mount you can go high in ropecar. Good place to spend one whole day. In the evening time till 9 pm you can see lighting. It will be very beautiful mixture of Autumn with lighting.
