★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good selection of English French and German books on 7F, also for learning English or Japanese. Selection on Japanese culture, travel etc. Unfortunately the rest of the store is Japanese only, so no good for technical books. There is no tax free available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very close to TOKYO Main station. Very big and spacious bookstore with a huge variety of books. Have self check machines to aid in the search of the book you want, of course all in Japanese. Customer service was good and efficient.

When you visit bookstore, you can actually see them and have them in your hands.
delivery available but only domestic witin Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably one of the best book store for retail books around. As well as having a huge selection of books in fiction romance manga horror and fantasy there are large libraries of technical manuals. There is also a good selection of foreign language books and the store is ideal for students.
The staff are helpful and kind and the store is well arranged. The only slight downsides are the location of the store and the fact that the isles feel a little cramped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty large book store near Tokyo station with multiple floors of Japanese books & magazines.
Unfortunately the public computers to look up books looks like they were imported from the 80’s. You push a button & wait 5 seconds for a reaction from each button.
Other than that the staff is really friendly & well informed on the inventory of books.
