★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good. Serving very fast. Surely worthy the price.
Wide menu with pictures. You can see directly to the kitchen how food is prepared. Equipment old, a bit smelling by smoke. Not suitable for children I would say. You get paper bib to protect your clothes. It is big restaurant in 2nd floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch and I found the noodles to be slightly overcooked, but other than that it was good. The lunch set is huge, and at just above 1300 yen I think it was well worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know a Chinese place is good if the Chinese are eating there. Luckily this place doesn't stand out because it on the fourth floor. I waited for a no smoking seat since there are complaints in the reviews here about the cigar smell.
I ordered their lunch set at 1380 yen with a choice of soup, dimsum and dessert. The waitress asks if you want the coriander to be added or not; let them remove it if your genes don't like them. The tantanmen noodles were probably the freshest noodles I have ever eaten here in Tokyo. The irregular texture of the noodles hints that they probably made it on site. Completely different mouthfeel. As for the spiciness, I would say as not as spicy as I would I expect it to be.
The xialongbao is impressive as well, but a bit weird as there is a aftertaste that is akin to eating peppercorn.
I would go there again for their savory ramen if I have the opportunity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend by a friend, but three times more delicious than I expected. The manager(?) handed over the food with unasked paper apron(I was wearing a dress). He didn’t rush me for order or payment at all. The ordered Mala Toshomen was very decent, great portioned, and quite reasonable priced. Wish it was near my house so that I can often visit.
