★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The seafood restaurant upstair (レストランうおっせ) is excellent. High quality, inexpensive and a sea view. It is in another small building right outside the seafood market. Those small restaurants inside the seafood market on ground floor are too expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here is the one of the most famous local fish market around Tokyo area. The location is vey good, and is very next to the port. So you can buy fresh Tuna, other local fish and shells. What I reccomend the most is, soy sources. You can buy some local SPECIAL versions. It will take approximately 2 hours' from central part of Tokyo. As it's a bit far from Tokyo area, one star minus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great fish market and souvenir shops to stop by on your way back to Tokyo after a weekend stay, pick up large chunks of tuna and other fish at great prices. They'll pack in styrofoam with ice for you, and even ship if you don't have a car.
