I first came across Seven God's in a museum on the coast of Awa Kamogawa, l forget the artist but his work is similiar to Enku, in fact he was referred to as the modern Enku. 1. Ebisu: Protector 2. Daikokuten: Prosperity 3: Bishamonten: God of war 4: Benzaiten: Goddess of music 5: Fukurokuju: Luck, virtue, longevity 6: Jurojin: Health and Happiness 7: Hotei: Fortune & Fertility After wandering around Asakusa Station waiting for a cafe to open l decided to go for a walk. I headed towards the side streets by the shrines and found a cafe selling hot milky tea with toast and egg. Lovely atmosphere, rustic and modern decor, staff very welcoming. After eating a lot of fish l needed a bit of toast with hot milky tea. Worth checking out, also test the staff on their knowledge of the God's... Look up to the right as you enter.!
