★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古代(大和朝廷時代か)の地域平定の祖を祭る貴重な神社。明治時代の神社合祀の影響で地域独自の祭神が残っている神社は少ないので、大変貴重である。本殿裏には祭神のものと伝わる古墳がある。また、神社となりには中世時代に神社の本地仏とされた仏像を祭る大日堂があり、こちらも神社、信仰の歴史の変遷を伝えるものであり、明治時代の廃仏毀釈の影響により本地仏が残されている神社は少なくこれも貴重な文化財であると思います。

It is very valuable because there are few shrines that have unique regional deities due to the influence of the shrines in the Meiji era. There is an ancient burial mound behind the main shrine. Also, next to the shrine is the Dainichido, which celebrates the statue of the Buddhist image of the shrine in the Middle Ages. There are few shrines left, and I think this is also a valuable cultural property.
