I did. It was really amazing. Is the viewing spot on the north bank of the Ontani River? There is a mountain on the opposite bank, as if you were looking at the opposite bank from the top. Are the trees on that mountain illuminated? It feels like that. Anyway, there is really no light around, in the darkness, the river is overgrown with grass like grasslands, and hundreds of fireflies shine like a dance in the background of the black trees of the mountains. The spectacle that flew around was a fantastic spectacle. The local people really cherish and cherish this environment. In this place, during the firefly season, local people are developing viewing spots and setting up viewing information centers. The firefly observation spot is located on the west side of the roadside station called Shinkintai Bridge, where there is an ornamental information center and a parking lot. From there, walk along the straight road on the bank for about 5 minutes to reach the viewing spot. There are staff in some places and staff in the spots, so if you go to the right time (full of June) and time (probably around 19:30 to 22:00), the road will be dark but you won't get lost. However, it seems that the parking lot near the observation site tends to fill up, and a shuttle bus runs from the roadside station on Saturdays and Sundays in June, so that is recommended. The shuttle bus will start operating at 19:30 and will take you to the information center near the most visible spot at that time. It feels like going back and forth between the roadside station and the information center many times at intervals of 20 to 30 minutes. The fare is free, and you can get a small prize by pulling a lottery when you get on. In addition, the staff will give you simple guidance on the bus. If you miss the timing, there is a disadvantage that it takes time to wait for departure at the roadside station or wait for pick-up at the information center, but I did not feel that it was inconvenient to use. Anyway, it is managed really well so that it is easy to see, and you can see it without stress. Still, you can see such a fantastic sight. There is no word other than really wonderful.
