大	大川滋 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 40年程前にバイクで伺いました。スタッフの方のおもてなし、食事(味噌汁　刺し身)　お母さんが朝早く　多分　イワシを買ってきて頂き美味しく頂いた記憶があります。近々　またうかがいたと思っております。 I asked by motorcycle about 40 years ago. The hospitality of the staff, meals (miso soup, sashimi), and my mom probably bought a sardine early in the morning and had a good memory. I think I've been there again soon.

M	May airplane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20年くらい前に伺いました。北限のニホンザルを見る事ができたり、サルやカモシカが畑を荒らしたりする話を聞くことができたりしました。バス停から宿まで歩く途中の港ではウニを獲っていて、通りがかりで見ていたら１ついただきました。きっと物欲しそうな顔をしていたんでしょうね。ユースホステルなので、掃除などを宿泊客で分担して行いました。宿の方々が今も変わらずお元気でいることを願います。旅行の行程では、カワヨグリーンYSや恐山にも立ち寄りました。 I asked about 20 years ago. S	Scott Sherwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here - only hosteler - on a cross-country bicycle trip in June, 2016. The interior design is warm, woody, and tasteful. The couple who run it are very accommodating - ran a bath for me alone. Mr. is an accomplished nature photographer whose photos adorn the walls. He's happy to talk about the wildlife. Mrs. prepared a great dinner and breakfast. A good base from which to explore the Shimokita Peninsula. Convenient to the ferry from Sotogahama. I hope to bring my wife here some day. (I speak Japanese, but not fluently. Mr. has some English.)
