年に一回ほど草刈りが行われるが、すぐに草が伸び利用しづらい。
草が伸びている時期は、虫がすごく特に藪蚊が大量発生しさらに利用しづらくなっている。夏休みのラジオ体操の実施場所に指定されているが、藪蚊が多いため向かいの千鳥さんの歩道と車道でラジオ体操を実施している。
