受付の白髪混じりのお婆ちゃんも小島先生も気さくで、先生は内科専門ですが内科領域外の処置も出来るベテランです。
町内の学校の中には定期的に行う健康診断の時に当院を呼んで行っている所も多く、地域に密着した町医者って感じです。
先生がベテランで多様なケアを受けることができますが、診療所的な側面が強いので、病状によっては西南医療センターに回されたり、病状に適した専門医を紹介されたりもします。
あくまでファーストオピニオンとしての受診に丁度いいレベルです。
ちなみに、受付のお婆ちゃんが不在の時もあります。
その時は看護師が受付を対応してくれます。
