★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little on the expensive side. You pay to enter, to park, and to camp. No fires and no swimming. You can pretty much camp wherever you want in the area, but they don't keep the grounds so lots of sticks and rocks. Bring a rake! This area is VERY windy! Beautiful though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went twice in August to Canoe which is camp in main attraction and they said both visits that they aren’t doing it - also got unfriendly feeling and that they just don’t care about guests - don’t go!!!! Lazy staff who just want to sit in office talking and having fun to themselves!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great campsite on the lake. The autocamp sites have electricity but are not lakeview. You can park your car in the free tent area, so the only advantage of the autocamp site is the electricity. You can't swim here, but it is the put-in for canoe tours. We were there in August: no rain or wind, cool nights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cottages are wonderful, very clean and beautiful. They have a small bathroom including a shower with hot water. They also have a small kitchen with a fridge and a single gas burner. There is plenty of sleeping space but most of it requires climbing a ladder so it may not be suitable for some people's needs. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we plan to stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super beautiful lakeside camping sites, they also have cabins and RV hook ups. They also have canoe rentals available, showers, bathrooms with western toilets, and grilling area. No fire pits allowed but personal grills are fine. Highly recommend! Bring yen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cleanest campground I've ever seen.! Staff is very friendly and some of them speak English! Towadako is the best lake in Japan and beautiful kayaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to camp along Lake Towada. Clean facilities, well-maintained roads, and scenic views make this campsite spectacular. The online reservation system is simple to use. A big bonus is the local grilled fish they can provide for grilling! It's very delicious at only 990 yen! I only wish I could have visited a few more times before leaving Aomori. Thanks for the great memories! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice camoing ground complete with facilities. Usage fee is very minimal. Please bring extra coins when taking a bath...shower is timed (albeit very fast) :P
