★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くなのにいままで来たことなかったので来てみました。今の季節この辺りはサクラ?でいっぱいです。北本の蒲桜の枝分けの桜も植えてあります。そしてこの地はかつて縄文人が住んでいたこと。(ちょっと感動❗)近くには市内最古の神社もあります。写真は他に赤堀川です。赤堀川起点まで行くのがオススメです。

And this place used to be the home of the Jomon people. (Slightly moved ❗) The oldest shrine in the city is also nearby. Another picture is Akahori River. We recommend going to the starting point of the Akahori River.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 犬の散歩で訪れました。芝生？の手入れが行き届いていたのか、公園内はすっきりしておりました。公園の規模はさほど大きくないが、トイレ、水場、自販機があり、駐車場も数台おけるスペースがあります。園内の看板に、遺構の内容が書いてあり、縄文末期(3500年～2500年前)の集落後や土偶などが発見されたと書いてありました。収集された遺物は桶川の博物館？に一部が展示されているとのことです。かつての遺構の後は見受けることは出来ませんが、この辺りにも縄文時代の後があったのは少し驚きです。
