日御碕灯台、日御碕神社なども隣接しております
宇竜自体は釣りでしか行きませんが、イカは良く釣れます。田舎の漁村です。

釣り人が多いです。
日御碕から歩いても行けます。車も通れますが道路は狭いです。
A quiet and scenic place.

３ナンバーのかなり大きめな自動車でも楽々の割と広い道です。
また、日御碕灯台の駐車場からも歩いて行けます。
いわゆる漁村ですが少し懐かしい感じがします。
漁港は権現島の裏側になるので瀬戸内海みたいに波が穏やかです。
人も多くないのでとても静かです。
秋ごろ夕まづめにカマスが良く釣れました。
近くにお店がないので食料、飲料水は確保してから来た方がいいです。
村のはずれにの駐車場の隣に公衆トイレがあります。
