★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もともとが魚屋なだけあって魚介類の揃えがよく値段も安いことが多いのでたまに利用するが、特に生鮮食品は目利きが必要だろう。良いものは良いし、安いものは安いが、たまに食うに値しないものが置かれていたりする。例えば日本海側でしか水揚げのないズワイガニのメスのセイコガニの激安品が生で置かれていたりするがいつも外れ(ゴミ同然)なので買ってはいけない。そもそも産地ですら1匹500円〜1000円くらいはするほど高騰しているセイコガニが1匹200円とかで置かれているのにはちゃんと理由があるということだ。
肉類は「ちゃんとしたいい肉」が「いい値段」で売られている。特に牛肉はその傾向で、どちらかと言うとハレの日向けの高級品な部類の揃えがいい。カレーに使う適当な牛肉の細切れを買いにきてもここにはない。ただ豚や鶏はお買い得の大量品がしっかり揃っている印象。牛肉だけクオリティが異常に高い。
調味料やインスタント食品などは総じていつも安く置かれているので(それでも一般のスーパーの特売品とかには負けるのかも知れないが)、スーパーをはしごして特売品だけを買う労力を惜しまない人ならともかく普通に買い物するにはお買い得だとは思う。

If you come to buy a suitable piece of beef for curry, it's not here. However, the impression is that pigs and chickens have a large selection of bargain items. Only beef has an unusually high quality.
Seasonings and instant foods are generally cheaper (although they may still lose to the bargains of ordinary supermarkets), so if you are willing to go through the supermarket and buy only the bargains. Anyway, I think it's a bargain to shop normally.
