★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通常とライトアップと両方見ましたが、通常の方が個人的に好きです。シーズンには駐車場含めとても混雑しますので、男鹿温泉郷に宿泊して、早朝の各宿が開催する早朝ツアーに申し込むと開場前に見れ人もおらず写真もたくさん撮れます！
 I've seen both normal and light up, but I personally like the normal one. The parking lot is very crowded during the season, so if you stay at Oga Onsenkyo and apply for an early morning tour held by each inn in the early morning, you can take a lot of pictures before the opening!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平日の午前中に行きましたが、空いていました。
専用の駐車場もあり、上の駐車場からは数百メートル歩かないといけません。(障害者用で、近くに駐車場もあります。)
日が当たっている花は枯れ始めているように見えました。
日陰の部分は、色がはっきりしていました。
海側から爽やかな風が吹いていましたが、暑さを感じたので、カフェでアイスコーヒーをいただきました。
I went there in the morning on weekdays, but it was vacant.
There is also a private parking lot, and you have to walk a few hundred meters from the parking lot above. (For disabled people, there is a parking lot nearby.)
The sunny flowers seemed to be starting to die.
The shaded area had a clear color.
There was a refreshing breeze from the sea side, but I felt the heat, so I had iced coffee at the cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 月並みですが紫陽花が見事でした。青一色に統一しているのが良いですね。所々にある微笑み地蔵に和まされます。雲昌寺限定のババヘラも美味でした。
The hydrangea was wonderful though it was the same as the moon. It is good to unify it to all blue. You will be relieved by the smiling Jizo in some places. Babahera limited to Unshoji Temple was also delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年7月4日に参拝しました。紫陽花が満開で見事でした。受付の入口で拝観料5百円を納めます。すると、お地蔵様の前で記念撮影してもらえるチケットを1グループにつき1枚もらえます。出口付近で記念写真を受け取れます。見頃の時期は、臨時駐車場も設けています。
I visited on July 4, 2021. The hydrangea was in full bloom and was wonderful. The admission fee of 500 yen will be paid at the entrance of the reception. Then, you will get one ticket for each group to take a commemorative photo in front of Jizo. You can receive a commemorative photo near the exit. A temporary parking lot is also available during the best season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 紫陽花寺、７月1日訪問しました。濃淡あるブルー1色に統一された紫陽花が満開に咲き誇りどこを見てもとてもきれいでした。紫陽花の背景に海が見えるのも素敵な景色でした。足元の石にハート型があるので是非見つけて見てください。紫陽花カフェの紫陽花ドリンク等販売してます。中にある大きな竹林がとても癒されます。駐車場からは500m程歩きます。駐車場はかなりの数とめることができます。
I visited Hydrangea Temple on July 1st. The hydrangea, which was unified in one shade of blue, was in full bloom and was very beautiful no matter where I looked. It was a wonderful view to see the sea in the background of the hydrangea. There is a heart shape on the stone at your feet, so please find it. We sell hydrangea drinks at Hydrangea Cafe. The big bamboo grove inside is soothing. Walk about 500m from the parking lot. There are quite a few parking lots available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went during the last weekend of June and the hydrangeas were in full bloom! I preferred going during the day because the flowers looked naturally vibrant. For the night light up they use blue lights which gave the flowers a bit of an artificial looking tint.
It gets crowded so I'd recommend going early. If you're going to the night light-up get there by 6:30.
