★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国民宿舎鵜の岬の隣の公園です。大きめの砂場と遊具があり、週末は鵜の岬の宿泊客や地元の家族連れが遊んでいます。池では鯉の餌やりができ、また奥の水場では季節によってはホタルを見ることもできます。園内ではウミウも飼われており、一通りぐるっと回るだけでも小一時間つぶせます。穴場です。

睡蓮の季節はとても綺麗です。
長良川などの鵜飼は有名ですが、鵜飼に使うウミウを捕獲できるのは、全国でただ一箇所、こちらだけです。
この捕獲場は一般公開しています。
国民宿舎「鵜の岬」から遊歩道を少し歩くと、 ウミウ捕獲場へのトンネルが見えてきます。入口では、案内人が出迎えてくれ、トンネルを抜けると、 鳥屋（トヤ）と呼ばれるウミウの捕獲場になります。捕獲は、海面から約12mの高さの断崖絶壁に人が通れるだけのスペースを削って、 丸太とコモで作った「鳥屋」（トヤ）でおこなわれています。
公開は捕獲に支障のない７月から９月と１月から３月です。 捕獲するところはご覧いただけませんが、 捕獲者から直接ウミウの生態や捕獲方法について話を聞くことができます。

池には鯉が泳いでいたり、蓮の葉が浮かんでいたりして眺めも良いです。
